In October, Baby Braves had a Pancake Playdate at Heard County Elementary School. At the event, families visited a pre-k classroom, played together and enjoyed a story time with the counselor. They also took home a hand-made craft and a brand new book!
Baby Braves is an early literacy community outreach initiative with a goal of supporting parents as their child’s first educator. Baby Braves is a collaborative effort between the Heard County School System and the Heard County Community Partnership. All Baby Braves receive child development information, community resource information and referrals as needed, along with a duffle bag full of books, puzzles, coloring books and more to support healthy brain development.
