Resource Center
The Outpost Family Resource Center opened Summer 2023 as a “one-stop shop” for Heard County families in need of resources and support. The Outpost is staffed by a Resource Navigator who is ready to help connect families to local and regional providers who can support them. The Center, located at 1191 Franklin Parkway, is also occupied by Community Action for Improvement–LIHEAP program, the HEARD Division of the Pregnancy Resource Center, and the Heard County Food Pantry.
HOURS OF OPERATION
Tuesdays 1:00 to 6:00 p.m.
Thursdays 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Fridays 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.

The Outpost is now a proud partner of The Connector, an online single application for assistance connecting west Georgia residents with local nonprofits that can help. The Connector matches the need to the appropriate provider (where available), thereby removing the guesswork for the person seeking assistance.
